Abstract

This paper will address the importance of considering "Universal Accessibility," both physical and communicational, as an essential cross-cutting axis in the practice of Cultural Management. Therefore, it should be incorporated into undergraduate training as a routine practice, in order to guarantee access, use, enjoyment, and participation in community cultural life, regardless of physical, sensory, and cognitive conditions, throughout the course of a person's life. The interest generated by this topic was reflected in the invitation to participate in the Argentine Congress on Cultural Management, held at the National University of Avellaneda, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The panel was entitled "Challenges of Contemporary Cultural Management”. The word "challenge" is the best way to perceive it. On this occasion, we propose incorporating cross-curricular content into the Cultural Manager's undergraduate training, addressing requirements and providing tools or technical solutions, with a strong foundation in raising awareness of the social and cultural diversity of users, including their functional diversity. This contribution would address the equalization of both cultural and social rights.
