The problem of the historical situation of Cultural Management in Chile in relation to its conceptualization and its performative process

Abstract

This article discusses the different ways of introduction of Cultural Management in the Chilean cultural field, which is something beyond what is purely aesthetic. In this regard, the historical context where the process is inserted determines the way it is assumed by institutionality, i.e., assuming values, believes, and interest that converge. Hereby, Cultural Management is seen as a performative act which integrates a communicative process, nourished by the interdisciplinarity as an innovative concept, able to develop new mediated stories, towards a transformer logic.
